La La land is an American comedy-drama written and directed by Damien Chazelle and it will be in theaters in January 2017. Starring Ryan Gosling ,who became famous with The Notebook, Emma Stone and the academy-award winner J.K Simmons who has already worked with Chazelle in Whiplash. We could not have wished for a better cast.
It will be the third time Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone share the screen after Crazy Stupid Love(2011) and Gangster Squad(2013). Their chemistry is genuinely fantastic and we can not wait to see the two of them back together on screen.
The movie took its "first step" on the red carpet at the Mostra of Venice 2016. The critics were enthousiatics and Emma Stone even won an award for her incredible performance. Moreover, La La Land is likely to run for the Oscars!
Two teasers have been released and we can say they make us want to see it desperately. All we know about the story is two young people falling in love in LA during the 50's. They give away few information but we got to hear Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone's voices singing two different songs. This movie is also a tribute to great musicals such as An American in Paris.
