RIDDLE TIME

This week, a girl from our class started making riddles to everyone. If you ask me, they are more like cases Sherlock Holmes would try to solve than simply riddles. They’re complex and clever, and they can be a good way to pass your time if you have some free thinking time. Here they are, have fun!

  1. You’re walking in a dessert, and you see a dead man. He is naked and he has a match in his hand. There are no footprints of any kind around him. What happened for him to be in that precise situation?

2. There are two men sitting at a table. There is a chess game on the table. The two are dead, one of them has a gunshot in the head. The weapon is also on the table. What happened and why?

3. A woman takes the train to see a doctor. On the way back, also by train, she commits suicide. Why?

4. Two monks and a captain are in prison waiting to go to court and be judged. The day after the trial, the newspaper say "the captain has been decapitated and the two monks have had the head cut." Nevertheless, there is only one dead person.

5. There is a room, which doors and windows can only be openned from the inside. They open towards the inside too. On the floor, two corpses and shards of glass around them. Just one window is opened, and next to it a table. What happened?

YOU CAN ASK US SOME QUESTIONS BUT WE CAN ONLY ANSWER BY "YES" OR "NO".

GOOD LUCK!
